یہ حسرت بھی عجیب ہے
بنا دل کے بھی جینا پڑتا ہے
زندگی کی یہ حرکت بھی عجیب ہے
ہر وقت تیرے خیالوں میں گم رہنا
اتنی فرصت بھی عجیب ہے
تیرے میرے درمیان میلوں کا فاصلہ ہے
اور یہ قربت بھی عجیب ہے

Teri nafrat bhi ajeeb hai
Koi chahay mujhe dil o jaan se
Yeh hasrat bhi ajeeb hai
Bana dil ke bhi jeena parta hai
Zindagi ki yeh harkat bhi ajeeb hai
Har waqt tairay khayalon mein gum rehna
Itni fursat bhi ajeeb hai
Tairay mere darmiyan mailon ka faasla hai
Aur yeh qurbat bhi ajeeb hai

My love is also strange
Your hatred is also strange
Someone wants me with all his heart and soul
This regret is also strange
One has to live without a heart
This movement of life is also strange
Always lost in your thoughts
Such leisure is also strange
